Today, I took part in an activity of LibUs to visit the Shanghai Science & Technology Museum . It's a wonderful and luxury banquet for both my vision and thought.

Earth Exploration is our first station. The exhibition brought us back to the formation of the earth,the movement of the magma,the theory of continental drift (by A.Wegener) .In this hall, it's the first time for most of us to have a taste of volcanic exploration and earthquake adventure. We are impressed deeply.

In the Light of Wisdom, we practised a lot of wise games, which are from basic theory but often ignored by adults. Several works of M.C.Escher are also hanged on the wall, which represent a strange loop,a self-reference, self-representation subject and so on, just as the Gödel, Escher, Bach: an Eternal Golden Braid / Douglas R. Hofstadter described "It is about self".

After a ten-minutes refection, we hurried up our tour of Information Era, World of Robots, Wide Spectrum of Life, The Cradle of Designers,and picked a few of programs to experience. Toxophily, table tennis, spot kick and KaraOK are boys favorite, as well as girls. At last, we chose two excellent media show as the end of our science and technology tour, the disaster of environment and the theory of relativity.

Such a day we had, a hopeful day, a hurry day, and a harvest day!

On the way back, an old song from the radio jumped to our ears, named say you say me by Lionel Richie. It was the most popular song twenty years ago, from White Night(1985), a same old movie. The song is fair-sounding now, but the world has changed greatly due to the development of science and technology. We were surprised by a fossil of Early Ordovician period(500Ma) , we also can enjoy a music of twenty years history, but we are leading a life changeable daily, and we should put our sights into the future. We must admit the fact that if we refuse to accept new knowledge,we would be discarded by time. Grasp the chance or hesitate on the spot? You say?
